Carbora

Carbora is a sustainability app that makes recycling a daily habit. It records every piece of waste you throw away, calculates the carbon emissions you prevent, and converts this effort into points.

HOW IT WORKS
• Find your nearest recycling bin on the map
• Scan the QR code on the bin
• Take a photo of your waste to verify the type and quantity
• Earn points and see your carbon savings instantly

KEY FEATURES

Recycling map
Shows you the nearest bins and collection points on the map. You can get directions and go directly there.

Bin verification with QR
Each bin has its own QR code. When you scan the code, the record is assigned to that bin, so the system remains real and verifiable.

Waste analysis
You can record paper, plastic, glass, metal, electronic, and organic waste separately. The app calculates the amount of CO2 prevented for each type.

Points and Market
You can convert your earned points into rewards such as physical products, sticker collections, coupons, and tree planting donations in the in-app market.

Daily Tasks and Achievements
Daily updated tasks, progress tracking, and badges make recycling a sustainable habit.

Educational Content and Tests
You'll gain practical knowledge about waste sorting, composting, and the circular economy through short videos, guides, and quizzes.

Institutional Dashboard
If you have a school, university, or company, you can join the institution, view internal rankings, and track your overall team impact.

Impact Analysis
You'll see the carbon emissions you've prevented and the water and energy you've saved in concrete numbers with weekly and monthly graphs.

WHY CARBORA
The hardest part of recycling is not being able to see that what you're doing is making a difference. Carbora solves exactly that: every record turns into a tangible number, and every number turns into a reward.

PRIVACY
Location information is only used to show nearby bins and to verify that waste is left at the correct location. Data is not shared with third parties. You can delete your account at any time from within the application by going to Profile > Delete My Account.
