Brenda Quest - Retro Platform

Brenda Quest is about a young female warrior. Her name "Brenda” is a tribute to her father who was a great Swordsman.

Brenda has been cast into the Underworld and has to take on the adventure through the territory of Hades(the god of the underworld), fight all kinds of deadly creatures to escape the Underworld.

As you traverse each level, you can slash enemies in a row with your blade or unleash the magic powers. Remember always look for your own paths and find the most effective way to climb to the top.

As you finish a level, you have to pay the boatman of river coins to ferry you to the next level, he will also reveal more of Brenda’s past along the way.

Features:

-Chaining attacks

If you can kill an enemy in the air you are granted one more set of jumps, hit another enemy in the air, and you can do it again.
With a little practice, you will find yourself soaring a long distance without ever hitting ground.

-Magic dashing

If you have collected enough magic potion, the player can roll into a “fireball” and easily dash freely in the air to clear the way through each stage.
Instead of being preoccupied with precision jump and slashing, the magic dashing is super satisfying and can be big relief in hard stages.

-Fierce boss fights

Boss fights are just like the retro platformers: figure out the bosses’ attack pattern, then wait for the right time and aim at the bosses’ vulnerable part.

-Simple to pick-up but difficult to master

Like mentioned before, create “chains” by slashing multiple enemies in succession without landing can earn you more coins per kill. This can collect massive coins much more quickly comparing to killing one enemy per attack.
