I ran into an issue with many of the other new tab pages because they were simply too feature rich. One of my other favorites was currently, but since I started to use a vpn, I noticed that the weather functionality in currently broke. My app aims to be very basic so it will work well with vpn's and runs completely client side.... so none of your personal information is cached in any database anywhere... ever. Finally, this replaces the horrible bright white default background of most browsers and will work on Firefox as well.
