Cyberkriminelle fälschen / klonen Webseiten um Daten zu phishen. Über ein Ampel-System werden Besucher der Webseiten darüber informiert ob die besuchte Webseite gefährlich, oder unbedenklich ist. Dafür installiert der User sich ein Browser Plug-In, welches dazu dient die Vertrauenswürdigkeit der besuchten Webseite zu überprüfen. Das Plug-In löst bei dem Besuchen im Hintergrund einen Algorhytmus aus bei dem gewisse Webseiteneigenschaften, bzw. Merkmale überprüft werden, welche zu einer letztlichen Bewertung führen. Das Plug-In übermittelt die Daten anonym und sicher an eine von uns gehostete Datenbank. Hier findet die Überprüfung statt.
