Nautilo

Developed by the St. Lawrence Global Observatory, Nautilo is a digital platform providing access to a selection of data useful for navigation on the St. Lawrence River, from the Great Lakes to the Gulf.

It allows users to easily access environmental data and models relevant to navigation, using a modern, intuitive interface optimized for smartphones, tablets, and computers. The platform facilitates the visualization and exploration of data in near real-time, in the form of graphs, tables, and interactive maps.

Nautilo allows users to view and access a wide range of data on marine conditions in the St. Lawrence River, making it easier to find essential information to support trip planning on the river. Nautilo offers an interface optimized for all screen sizes and customization options to meet the needs of a wide variety of users.

Funded by the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility (MTMD) as part of the Saint Lawrence Advantage, Nautilo also benefited from the support of the Integrated Ocean Observing System of Canada, Saint Lawrence Pilotage and the Corporation of Pilots of the Central Saint Lawrence.
