Features & Capabilities

Native HLS is a Chrome extension that enhances your video streaming experience by wrapping around the powerful hls.js library. It allows you to play .m3u8 HLS video links directly by clicking or pasting them into the address bar. With a new options button, users can select the preferred hls.js version and easily enable or disable the extension via its icon.

Additional features include a handy zoom in/out button for better video control. Although it does not yet support playing embedded .m3u8 videos directly on web pages, Native HLS significantly improves interaction with HLS streams seamlessly within the browser.
