If I'm on an Amazon product detail page and click the extension icon to display the extension's UI, if I then click "Analyze this product," a new browser tab opens that appears to have a properly formed URL (at fakespot[dot]com, with a query parameter called URL that gets the value of the Amazon product page I was viewing before clicking "Analyze this product"). For whatever reason, every single time I click this "Analyze this product" button within the extension's UI, that new tab that opens displays "Server Error" and nothing else. When I look at the network call that gets made when loading that page, the response is always "503 Service Unavailable," so I was thinking maybe Fakespot were experiencing an outage on their end. However, if I copy the same URL that throws a 503 for me into another browser (in this case, Firefox) the URL loads just fine and takes me to the Fakespot page for the product I was viewing, so this is not an outage on Fakespot's side. There's something fundamentally wrong with how the Fakespot extension tries to trigger an analysis when clicking that "Analyze this product" button within the Chrome extension's UI. As it stands today - Thursday, January 30th - arguably the most important function of the Chrome extension simply doesn't work. Cannot recommend.

this should be mandatory for anyone using amazon! I now automatically ignore every "new seller alert" - way too many alphabet soup companies springing up.
