My apologies I didn't know so many people were using this extension I made this for me and my friends, turns out many people had the same problem.
I've fixed the code so now it should work as it was intended, there were changes from twitter web that broke it, but I've made it so it should work for the same layout for 90% of the changes.
Since this is for accessibility I have open sourced the code on github : nishantrpai/thread2audio

Can you let users change the reading voice? Most importantly, rather than needing to select Tweets individually, perhaps, the ability to play tweets from a selected Twitter list would be most helpful, rather like listening to the radio? Thanks for developing the app.
