Farmbook Camera

Farmbook Camera is a purpose-built camera for farm and field work. Every photo you take is automatically stamped with the exact time, GPS coordinates, compass heading and a small location map — so you always know when and where a photo was taken, even months later.

The stamp is baked onto the photo itself, and the same information is also written into the photo's EXIF metadata. That means the proof-of-location travels with the file, whether you share it over WhatsApp, email it to a manager, or hand it to an auditor.

WHAT GETS STAMPED ON YOUR PHOTO
• Capture date and time in your local timezone
• Latitude and longitude
• Altitude, when available
• Compass heading, when available
• A small map of the capture location

WHAT GETS WRITTEN TO EXIF
Standard EXIF tags are embedded so other apps and backends can read the data: DateTimeOriginal, DateTimeDigitized, timezone offset, GPSLatitude, GPSLongitude, GPSAltitude, GPSImgDirection, and a Software marker identifying Farmbook Camera.

Farmbook Camera is designed to be simple: open the app, aim, shoot. The heavy lifting — compositing the stamp, writing EXIF, saving to the gallery — happens in one step.
