Matilde Médico

Matilde Médico is the complementary application to the Matilde HIS system, designed exclusively for physicians and clinical staff already using the Matilde web platform in their practice or clinic.

This app allows you to capture and upload clinical photographs of patients directly to the corresponding record in Matilde, quickly, securely, and without storing any images on your mobile device.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

1. From the Matilde web platform, the physician registers a procedure, session, or anatomical area for a patient.

2. The system generates a unique QR code associated with that record.

3. The physician opens Matilde Médico on their phone and scans the QR code displayed on the screen.

4. The app takes one or more photographs and sends them directly to the Matilde server, automatically associated with the correct patient, procedure, and session.

5. The images are never stored in the gallery or on the phone's memory.

PRIVACY AND SECURITY

- Photographs are never stored on the device: they are transmitted directly to Matilde's secure server and deleted from the app's temporary memory upon completion of transmission.

- Clinical information is protected in accordance with the Mexican Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP).

- The app only requests access to the camera and internet. It does not access the gallery, contacts, location, or other personal data on the device.

- Use of the app is linked to an authenticated session via the QR code generated by the web system, preventing unauthorized use.

CLINICAL USE CASES

- Photographic record of dermatological procedures: lesions, treatment progress, and aesthetic follow-up.

- Visual documentation of clinical sessions in specialties such as dermatology, gynecology and obstetrics, gastroenterology, surgery, and others.

- Monitoring of wounds, scars, and longitudinal visual studies. - Clinical evidence attached to the patient's electronic medical record.

REQUIREMENTS FOR USING THE APP

- An active Matilde HIS account (subscribed by the physician, office, or clinic).

- Stable internet connection.

- Android device with a working camera.

IMPORTANT

Matilde Médico is not a general-use application and does not function independently. It is designed as a professional tool exclusively for physicians and authorized personnel who are already users of the Matilde HIS system. Without an active account and a QR code generated from the web platform, the app will not function.
