Muvic Sync Helper Firefox

Muvic Sync Helper

Sync your Spotify playlists to Beatport and Bandcamp from muvic.app. Handles logins so you stay signed in on your own browser.

Features & Capabilities

Buy your DJ playlists in minutes.

Muvic Sync Helper is the companion extension for muvic.app, the tool that turns a Spotify or M3U playlist into a Beatport cart and Bandcamp wishlist. Drop in a list, click Run, and Muvic fills your carts so you can buy what you actually want to play out.

Why the extension exists

When you click "Run sync" on muvic.app, the Muvic service needs to act on your Beatport and Bandcamp sessions to add tracks to your carts. Browser security correctly prevents one website from reading another website's cookies, so without this extension, Muvic would have to ask for your platform passwords and sign in on a server. That is exactly the trust pattern you should not accept.

This extension closes the gap. You sign in to Beatport and Bandcamp the normal way, in your own browser. The extension reads the resulting session cookies on those two domains only, and hands them to muvic.app when you start a sync. Your platform passwords never leave your machine.

What it does

  • Detects whether you are signed in to Beatport and Bandcamp by reading session cookies on those two domains.
  • Opens the sign-in page for Beatport or Bandcamp on demand, when muvic.app asks.
  • Passes the session to the Muvic sync service when you click "Run sync".
What it does not do
  • Does not read cookies or data from any other site. Host permissions are scoped to beatport.com and bandcamp.com only.
  • Does not see your platform passwords. You enter those on the platforms themselves, never in Muvic.
  • Does not run in the background. No telemetry, no third-party analytics, no tracking pixels, no remote configuration.
How Muvic uses the music

Muvic is a music purchasing tool, not a download tool. Muvic searches Beatport and Bandcamp for the tracks in your playlist, fills your carts on those platforms, and hands checkout back to you. You review the cart, you pay, and Beatport and Bandcamp deliver the music through their normal channels. Artists get paid.
