Site Switcher Firefox

Site Switcher

Easily switch across live, stage & local site

Features & Capabilities

This addon allows to switch quickly across different version of a web site, like e.g. live/production site, stage site and local site.

The sites can be defined in the setting in JSON format, like this:

[["https://example.org","https://stage.example.org","http://example.org.local"], ["https://example.com","https://stage.example.com","http://example.com.local"]]

If one of the defined sites is accessed, the other sites can be accessed via a popup icon. The non-domain part of the URL will be retained.

Is Site Switcher Safe?

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

Site Switcher requires some sensitive permissions that could impact your browser and data security. Exercise caution before installing.
