The Traffic Alert (Taiwan) Chrome extension helps users detect speed and traffic light cameras on the road with instant alerts 1 to 3 kilometers ahead. This proactive tool enables drivers to slow down in time and avoid fines. It features a fully automated detection system using camera locations provided by the Transport Department, along with custom alerts allowing users to set their own checkpoints.

Key features include distance-based alerts at 2km, 1km, and 500 meters, overspeed alerts only when the user's speed exceeds limits, automatic real-time data updates for subscribers, and voice notifications. The system automatically activates detection when driving mode is recognized. For optimal use, GPS and location permissions must be enabled on devices running Android 6.0 or above.
