What is Omnifriend?

Omnifriend is a Chrome extension designed to make your social experience easier and smoother. This tool caches contacts from platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Steam, and Reddit, enabling you to instantaneously find and open your friends' profiles. Without needing site-specific app permissions, users can search in Chrome's omnibox or through a dedicated search page. It also offers additional features such as email address book import, multiple account sync and a customized search page.

Omnifriend caches a list of social contacts from Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Steam, Reddit and more. You can then search from Chrome's omnibox (or from the dedicated search page) to instantly find and open profile pages.

The extension gathers links to friends based on the currently logged in user, so no site-specific app permissions are needed. Chrome permissions are granted as needed, and you can disable each site to revoke the permissions.
