What is Edulastic?

Edulastic is a Kiosk Chrome extension designed to create a secure testing environment by ensuring browser lockdown. It operates in fullscreen on Chrome OS, preventing students from exiting this mode. While its full functionality is designed for Chrome OS, it also offers limited functionality on Windows via the Chrome browser, sustaining fullscreen mode upon launch and disabling the ESC key function to exit the mode.

In order to ensure browser lockdown to add security to the testing environment for students, Edulastic Kiosk Mode App for chrome devices has been released. Edulastic Kiosk App is a Chrome App and is designed to run in fullscreen on Chrome OS where the student is not allowed to exit fullscreen mode. The current version of Edulastic Kiosk App can also be used on windows from Chrome browser with limited functionality, for which the fullscreen mode will be presented on launching the App and user cannot use ESC key to exit the fullscreen mode.
