I have an old school Home Theater PC with HDMI to TV--> optical out to a Denon receiver. Over just Youtube I get an audio delay which I was unable to get rid of. It was worst in Firefox and a bit better in Edge, but still there. I just found this plug-in for Chrome and it absolutely works, my audio/video are in perfect synch now. The + and - slider makes this a winner. | |

I'm connected to bluetooth speakers with quite the delay, I was scared that the extension only allows audio delay.. but after adding, I found that this extension also allows video delay (meaning - delay in audio) and this was absolutely perform for my case. Thank you for this extension! | |

This was a fantastic extension, which worked for the most part flawlessly, however very recently - due possibly to updates in Chrome or changes in YouTube - it no longer works. I have tried posting in the support the section, along with many other previously satisfied users, alas the author has not even acknowledged these posts. I was so impressed with the extension that I "bought the author a coffee". However I feel that a one star rating is now justified. This will be changed to a 5 star when the author tries to fix the extension or even says he is aware of the problem and will attempt maintenance in the near future. | |

My use case is with a Pair of Devialet Phantom speakers which are paired to my MAC via bluetooth for home theater use. The Devialet speajers already have an inherent delay of around 350ms for a bluetooth connection, on top of additional delay from my MAC to the speakers via bluetooth and youtube. This add-on to Chrome is a FANTASTIC tool to address my specific needs. I was able to configure the exact audio delay to have perfect lip sync when playing youtube videos to my Phantoms. However, it seems the add-on is no longer working. Perhaps due to recent Chrome updates? hen i enable this add-on, no sound is output via bluetooth. So I have to disable the add-on now. I hope the developer can please fix this as this add-on is such a god send for those who need to correct lip sync issues. But even if not, I wish to still thank the developer for doing what they have already done for this issue. |
