What is ScanLingua?
ScanLingua is a free and open source Chrome extension that provides Japanese text recognition of selected screen areas. With ScanLingua, you can check subtitles, manga panels, or any Japanese text, edit the recognized text, and alter annotations. It also allows you to create and export kanji cards to Anki via Anki-connect. ScanLingua uses various Google APIs and requires a free API key for its functions. Please note that the kanji annotation feature is currently undergoing maintenance.
