The PMK-EE app offers initial convenience and quick access to certification PDFs but suffers from serious reliability issues. Common problems include frequent crashes, loss of saved progress, faulty or incomplete certificates, and failure to sync completion with official systems. Additionally, study materials are inadequate, mostly redirecting users to external websites, making mobile study difficult. Many users ultimately resort to navy e-learning website due to these problems. Overall, the app's unreliability and poor functionality significantly hinder its usefulness for official certification.

Pros

Convenient and faster than using the computer version for initial course completion.
Allows downloading of the course completion PDF immediately after finishing the required sections.
Enables completion of the PMK course work and saving certificate to email as a readable PDF under some conditions.

Cons

App often crashes or refuses to open, including on various devices such as Google Pixel 2XL.
Progress and completion data are not reliably saved, causing users to lose their progress and have to restart.
Certificates generated by the app have issues: they either lack scores, display incorrect completion dates, or are in unreadable formats.
Confirmation of course completion is not properly sent to required systems like NSIPS, E-learning, or FLTTMPS, affecting verification.
Study materials provided are insufficient or mostly links to other sites, often requiring inconvenient search on small mobile screens.

Not sure why so many people have issues with the app. Majority of the issues I've read in these reviews are due to user error. Don't overthink it, just complete the sections required and when you're done click on "completed course" tab, fill in your information and send it off. You can download the PDF right after. Works perfect for me! Received full credit.

The app basically refuses to even open even months out from the actual eligibility period. I tried downloading it again last minute and it still has the same error. This is absolutely bs.
