User Reviews

User reviews are split: many users praise the add-on as essential for automating repetitive tasks and part of a long-standing Power Automate workflow, while a majority report it often doesn’t work or breaks after updates. Compatibility with PAD/Firefox updates and resulting performance slowdowns are recurrent complaints. Overall usefulness is acknowledged when it functions, but reliability and update-induced instability are the dominant concerns.
Pros
  • Very useful for automating repetitive tasks.
  • Indispensable for some users when it works (can’t live without it).
  • Long-standing integration with Power Automate/WinAutomation lineage that some users rely on.
Cons
  • Frequently not working or broken, including after updates.
  • Compatibility issues with the latest Power Automate Desktop/firefox updates requiring frequent updates or workarounds.
  • Recent updates cause performance problems such as slow startup or long delays before flows start.

Another one of these automation tools which doesn't work. Tosca came close, but even that couldn't recognize some elements. Power automate desktop can't even see a basic out of the box html input box with an ID attached to it. It just bounces around highlighting parent elements with no way to zone in on the thing you need. Even when you finally get the element you need it doesn't put the characters into the box using the actions.
