User reviews

Users appreciate Cosmos Extension for its ease of transferring pins from Pinterest and its organized, enjoyable interface that serves as a better alternative for saving visual inspiration. However, common issues exist such as errors importing private or complex Pinterest boards, slow saving times causing data loss messages, the absence of multi-selection features to expedite organizing, unclear sign-up processes, and session persistence problems requiring frequent logins. Despite these drawbacks, many find it a valuable and innovative tool for managing image collections.

  • Easy transfer of pins and boards from Pinterest to Cosmos.
  • Enjoyable and user-friendly interface.
  • Considered a better or more organized alternative to Pinterest and similar platforms.
  • Useful for saving visual inspiration and creating moodboards.
  • Provides a unique combined experience drawing from platforms like Pinterest, Tumblr, and others.
Cons
  • Frequent errors when importing boards, particularly with private boards or boards with sections.
  • Saving elements takes longer than expected, sometimes resulting in 'Oops, this element got lost in space' errors.
  • Lack of multi-select or bulk selection features to speed up transfer and organization of images.
  • User sign-up process is unclear or missing, causing confusion for new users.
  • Automatic logout after closing Chrome, forcing repeated sign-ins.

It let me transfer a big portion of my pins and boards from Pinterest to Cosmos with ease, so far so good. Enjoying cosmos so far, but please make a light version as well! (instead of just having a dark ver).

I've been loving Cosmos' interface and overall experience, but there's one issue that's borderline dealbreaker for me. The elements taking longer than expected to save and ending up "Oops, this element got lost in space." is honestly a major problem with this extension and it's been negatively impacting my experience. I hope this will be fixed.
