Mentorque: manutenção do carro

Mentorque is an automotive maintenance and education app for non-mechanics. It helps you understand what's wrong with your car, decide if the problem can wait, and arrive at the repair shop knowing what to ask.

WHAT YOU DO IN THE APP

Symptom Diagnosis
Describe what you're feeling in your own words: noise when braking, warning light on the dashboard, strange smell, vibration in the steering wheel. The app shows the likely causes, the typical urgency of each, and a checklist to take to the repair shop, all tailored to the car you registered.

Mechanics Lessons for Beginners
Basic to advanced lessons on brakes, suspension, engine, electrical systems, and tires. Written for those who have never opened a hood, without jargon or college lectures.

Maintenance History
Record services, parts, and expenses per vehicle. The app remembers maintenance by mileage, and the organized history helps when selling the car.

Everyday Tools
OBD2 code reading, ethanol and gasoline comparator, vehicle health quiz, and price range estimate to help you determine if your budget makes sense.

WHO IT'S FOR

For those who want to save money without being ripped off at the mechanic. For ride-sharing drivers who lose income with their cars out of service. For those who bought a used car and don't know what's been done before. And for those who simply like to understand how things work.

WHAT MENTORQUE DOESN'T DO

It doesn't diagnose your car remotely and doesn't replace a professional inspection: it shows probable causes and prepares the conversation with the mechanic. It doesn't repair anything, doesn't schedule service, doesn't sell parts, and doesn't give a fixed price. It's also not insurance or 24-hour assistance.
