Mission and main goals
The Upheaval movement strives to transform Montenegro into a community based on social justice, sustainable development and the dignity of every individual. The basic idea is the fundamental change of society so that it realizes its full human potential, with strict respect for the principle of equality in all areas of life.

Reform of the political system
In order to achieve these goals, Upheaval insists on completely redefining the way politics works. The political system must be based on measurability and responsibility, where politicians are obliged to offer precise, quantitative and time-defined solutions. In this way, citizens can objectively evaluate their work at the end of each mandate. In addition, guaranteeing the autonomy of each worker at all levels is a prerequisite for full efficiency, while transparency in the collection and spending of budget funds serves as a key tool for eliminating corruption and social deviations.

Politics as a tool for citizens and direct democracy
The upheaval sees politics solely as a means of achieving social cohesion and general prosperity. The key elements of this approach are returning power to the citizen through strengthening the concept of direct democracy and more frequent use of local and state referendums. The new decision-making model implies a process that starts from the position of the local community, continues through expert proposals, and ends with political implementation. Also, there is an insistence on the professionalization of the administration, where advancement in the public sector depends exclusively on the achieved results and clear evaluation criteria.

The fight against partitocracy and sustainability
As the biggest obstacle to development, the movement identifies the partitocracy, which has been collapsing the value system and blocking capable individuals for decades. The fight against this phenomenon is long-term and requires a radical change in the existing political milieu. The focus is on solving problems in a timely manner, from communal to state, with proactive promotion of economically viable solutions that are in the direct interest of citizens, not narrow political circles.
