map.name is a quiet place to keep what you want to keep.

Save a photo, a link, a passage of text, something shared from another app. It
lands in one place and stays yours. Nothing is posted anywhere by default.

YOUR SAVES ORGANISE THEMSELVES

You do not file anything. map.name reads what you save and arranges it by topic, by place, by when it happened and by where it came from. Come back a month later and the walk through the woods, the article about coffee and the photograph of the bridge are already sitting with the things they belong to.

Recent lays everything out as a wall of cards, each one sized to itself, so a
picture looks like a picture and a note reads like a note.

REWINDS: YOUR SAVES, WRITTEN UP

Pick a handful of captures and map.name will write them into a Rewind, a proper piece of writing with your own words in it. You add the beats that matter, choose the paper it is printed on, and publish it at its own address with a QR code and a short link anyone can open.

A Rewind is not a feed post. It is a page that keeps working long after you made it.

YOU DECIDE WHAT IS PUBLIC

Every capture is private until you say otherwise. Choose private, unlisted or
public one at a time, and change your mind whenever you like. Your public page lives at map.name and your handle, and it shows only what you have chosen to show.

READ WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT

Open anyone's public page and read it, browse it by topic or place, and read
what they have published, without signing in at all.

MESSAGES

Write to people who follow you and who you follow back. Send a photo, or hold
the microphone and speak: your words appear as you say them, in the language you pick, and travel with the message.
