Kurious: English for Kids

Help your child speak up in English, and build things worth talking about.

Kurious is a friendly AI learning buddy for children aged 6–12 who understand some English and want more practice using it. One trail, chapter by chapter: talking missions and small coding builds take turns, so your child practises real English about things they actually made.

TALK
Say hello to someone new. Borrow a pencil. Give directions. Tell a story. Make a plan together. Every talking stop is a short live conversation with Kurious: the cat talks, your child just answers. A short animated trailer sets the scene, and help is always one tap away.

MAKE
Feed a pet. Run a dance party. Build a number game. Between the talking stops, guided coding builds teach cause and effect, order, memory and choices, with no reading required.

SHOW ME
Every build ends with your child telling Kurious what they made, how it works and what they would add next. That is where logic and language meet.

HELP THAT MEETS YOUR CHILD WHERE THEY ARE
Simple English, with optional Hindi explanations when your child is stuck. Typing is always available for a quiet room. Free play lets your child make anything they like, off the trail.

FOR GROWN-UPS
See chapters and stops completed, what your child practised, where they used help, and something small to try together. Typed practice is kept separate from speaking evidence. These are AI practice observations, not a confidence score or a pronunciation test.

SETUP AND CONTROL
A parent says yes before the microphone is used. The live conversation runs through ElevenLabs (speech and voice) and Claude by Anthropic (what Kurious says). Kurious keeps private learning records, not recordings. See the privacy information for provider processing and account deletion.
