Android offline dictionary

Uses data from Wiktionary and Beolingus to generate dictionary files that can be used offline. These can be downloaded from within the app. This is an Android app converted with ARC Welder, thus it depends on the "App Runtime for Chrome" which may be a significant download if you do not yet have it.

Based on (removed) original QuickDic from https://code.google.com/p/quickdic-dictionary/ Updated to app known as "QuickDic restored" on Android: https://github.com/rdoeffinger/Dictionary .

Note2: This converted app runs fine for me on e.g. Linux, that it is only available on ChromeOS is Google's decision, not mine.

Can't download any dictionary
by Aris Gealone Aris Gealone, 2016-06-19

Can't locate local storage during the installation process, so it is unable to install. The app has no way of functioning unless you know the file directory on your machine in text format. Good luck with that on a Chromebook. There should be a file browser pop-up when downloading dictionaries, or it should just download to a valid location, not a non-existent SD card directory.
