Weather Tab is a Chrome extension that provides access to current and extended weather forecasts, alerts, and links to topsites on your browser New Tab. It offers local weather conditions, humidity, sun/sunset time, hourly forecast, and a 7-day forecast. By installing the extension, you agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. The extension requires permissions to read and change data on websites it owns, replace the new tab page, and read browsing history to manage browser tabs and provide relevant product information.

It's a good start but needs work. It started with what seemed like a full page in blue but then i couldn't get back to that. No way to access options afaik. White background, huh? The clickies just popup a small field of information when they could use the whole page. I do like that it links to weather channel.
No reason to use this over weather channel extension.
