To use the web search Search like you normally would. Search for anything online – news, images, weather updates and more and get custom search results powered by Yahoo(R)

To find a place on the map Type ‘maps’ in your browser search bar, press ‘Space’, type location, and press ‘Enter’. (e.g. maps New York)

To find directions Type ‘maps’ in your browser search bar, press ‘Space’, type location A to B, and press ‘Enter’. (e.g. maps New York to Philadelphia)

You could also click on the extension’s icon in the browser toolbar to search for maps and directions easily.
