Lucky Fish

A fisherman cat keeps a stall on a wooden pier, and beneath the planks the fish are running: bands of current carry silhouettes in opposite directions, each at its own speed. A queue forms at the counter — pelicans, kittens, an old turtle — and each one holds an order card. The boat drifts back and forth along the pier; your part is a single tap. The hook drops, pierces the water and catches the first thing it meets. The right fish goes to the customer, the wrong one goes overboard with a penalty line in the report, and seaweed means an empty catch and lost seconds.
