Doublespeak is a Chrome extension that replaces political doublespeak with plain English. Install the extension to open a duplicate tab with realtalk instead of euphemisms. Replaced terms include 'adversary' with 'anybody', 'extrajudicial' with 'illegal', and more.

The web is now filled with political doublespeak--euphemisms intended to make undesirable actions seem anodyne. With this extension you can start turning the tide. Installing the app adds a button to your Chrome window that, when clicked, will open a duplicate of the current tab but with doublespeak replaced by realtalk.

Currently replaced terms (v0.2) include:

adversary: anybody
extrajudicial: illegal
rendition: kidnapping
post-truth: lying
fake news: propaganda
alt-right: white supremacist
