this is not a review this is to help you all till this one is fixed use https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/gideponcmplkbifbmopkmhncghnkpjng it should take you to this after installing extension https://youtube-skins.com/adskipper This doesn't skip ads but it does fast foward the ads by 16x so 4 min ads end in aprox 6 seconds and small ads might as well not exist.

Definitely a great extension, helps make YouTube much more usable. It was working until this week (15 April 2024). Looks like maybe an update is needed to resolve whatever YouTube recently changed.
