Dark Theme for Instagram™: Customizable Dark Mode

Dark Theme for Instagram™ is a highly functional Chrome extension designed to enhance users' Instagram experience. It adds a toggling button to enable or disable dark mode for Instagram's website, with additional customization allowed via personal CSS styling rules. The theme can auto-switch based on day or night periods. It functions independently from Instagram using an 'invert' filter, inverting and selectively reverting elements for a smooth dark theme.

Better than not having dark theme at all, but it color-inverts profile pictures on the Stories bar, does not darken the bright white background behind dialogs, and does not consistently lighten icons. It would also be nice if it followed the system dark/light theme preference.
