Installed without my consent. When I install Google Drive I don't want it to add an extension to my browser without my knowledge and withtout my consent. I thought this kind of behaviour was reserved to spyware. |

The "open with" option no longer shows applications installed on the computer (third party) as an option to open and edit files directly on the drive. I've already tried to reinstall the quick app access extension, I've tried to relink the filestream drive software and I've been unsuccessful. |

I've used this extension for a couple of years now to open Adobe creative suite files directly from Google Drive. It has worked perfectly until today, It suddenly stopped working. Removed and added back. Nothing has worked. This really hinders my workflow as I open and edit sometimes hundreds of design files a day. Downloading and reuploading is not ideal for me as I work with so many files a day and some can be GB's big! I really hope something gets worked out with this so I can come back and give this app the 5 stars it previously deserved. |

Also in population of those who have recently noticed no longer able to open locally as recent as past few days. The option appears to open with the external apps, just not action triggered. |

It works! The only thing missing is REVEAL IN FINDER. So that the selected file location gets open within a Finder window. |

Revision: It's stopped working now. Uninstalled, reinstalled, etc. Revising my review to 2 stars until it get's fixed. Works perfectly. When a folder full of documents is shared with me it allows me to open up the files directly into the native app. It's a great time saver. The one thing I'd like to see implemented here is to also be able to open up an enclosing file in the Mac Finder window for Google Drive Desktop. |

Giving a one star because it was added today by itself. When I look at the extensions page it say "Added by a third-party". After doing a quick search it appears to be installed by Google if you have Google Drive for Desktop installed. I check under programs, and sure enough, Google Drive for Desktop was updated/installed today also. With so many stories about bad extensions getting added from "Added by a third-party" you would think Google would be able to say "Added by Google because you have Google Drive for Desktop installed.". |
