User Reviews
Pros
- Extremely useful; saves time and money by showing library holdings and enabling immediate access to e-books or audiobooks.
- Simple and effective; easier to discover items than through many library apps or search tools.
- Broad cross-library/platform coverage; supports Libby, CloudLibrary, Hoopla, and more across multiple sites.
- Excellent for multi-library households; lets you choose which collections to search (physical and electronic) and see availability across libraries.
- Well-supported and actively maintained; developers quickly add new libraries and fix issues.
Cons
- CloudLibrary integration is inconsistent across libraries; users frequently request broader, more seamless CloudLibrary support.

Great idea and execution - developer was super responsive and added my regional library in Canada when contacted, within days! Amazing.

The best way to choose between buying or borrowing a book from the library. This extension is great but has unfortunately exposed the dearth of books available in my local library system. I like that it separates out ebook from paper book availability.

Is Library Extension Safe?
Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.
Library Extension requires some sensitive permissions that could impact your browser and data security. Exercise caution before installing.
