Extension summary

Iris is software which makes Monitors healthy for the eyes.

With Iris you can reduce the Blue Light emitted from your screen for better sleep, reduce the Brightness of your screen without PWM and avoid eye pain.

This is the first Blue light filter app for Chrome and ChromeOS which works by lowering blue light not just placing a trasnparent overlay on the screen.

Will be improved to be automated but it's working also right now.

User reviews

I just downloaded it and the sliders don't change anything. How do I get it to work?!

Bugs on Google Chrome and not usable on ChromeOS I use Iris on Windows platform and Linux too! It served me well. I got my fresh Google Pixelbook with ChromeOS. I used the native ChromeOS night light, but I like the fact that Iris can go totally red and that you can ajust brightness without the PMW flickering drawbacks. Unfortunatly, this extension does not dim the light of the whole screen. It applies only to some of the Google Chrome tabs... Some of the tabs are not dimmed, like this one of the chrome web store. So you get a very important contrast between the chrome tab and the menus that are not dimmed. I don't think the extension is usable right now, unfortunately! Probably that the new Linux compatibility (still Beta) is the best bet for chromeOS integration? Keep up the good work so we can get that extension for all the ChromeOS interface!
