User Reviews

Users praise LEO Dictionaries as fast, simple and reliable—especially for single-word lookups and via the context menu. The most-mentioned issues are that lookups open a new tab (many want inline results) and the lack of a quick activation shortcut or easier selection method.
Pros
  • Fast and effective for single-word lookups
  • Easy to use—many users say it “does what it says” or is “perfect” for quick translations
  • Context-menu integration makes lookups convenient while browsing
  • Long-term stability and reliability reported by multiple users
Cons
  • Translation results open in a new tab instead of inline on the same page (frequent complaint)
  • No built-in quick activation shortcut or simpler activation (users ask for keyboard shortcuts or multi-click options)
Recent reviews
I really like it, but would like it even more if I could set up a shortcut to look up words seamlessly. I know the challenge comes from having several possible languages, but allowing a shortcut for each or at least the possibility to choose a single language for quick look up would be very nice.
