Features & Capabilities

Last.fm doesn't support multiple artists of the same name, instead grouping them together into one page. So if you listen to an artist that shares a page with another artist that may be more popular, all your stats will display the image of the more popular artist. That's annoying and terrible.

This extension allows you to change the primary image for any artist to whatever you want. This change is entirely local, and WILL NOT change the actual image Last.fm uses on their servers. It simply replaces the image that's displayed on your browser, nothing more.

Hopefully this is useful for you, it certainly has been for me.

HOW TO USE: Once you've installed the extension, right-click the icon and click "manage extension", then click "options". On this page you can specify image urls for specific artists. Make sure to hit save.

The color option is for Last.fm subscribers that have access to the redesigned artist page. This new page has a color gradient next to the image, so the color option lets you change the color of that.

Is Last Resort Safe?

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

Last Resort requires very minimum permissions.
