Is the Check Engine light on? Don't guess and don't pay for a blind "diagnostic."

Texer connects to an OBD2 adapter (ELM327: Bluetooth, Bluetooth LE, or Wi-Fi) and tells you in half a minute what's wrong with your car—in simple terms. Not "P0171," but "lean mixture: most likely an air leak—that's what you should check yourself and whether you can drive."

• Auto service mode: the customer's car is located by VIN, and the owner's name is included in the report.
• Pre-purchase inspection compares the mileage on the dashboard with the engine block.

PRE-PURCHASE CHECK
The seller may have cleared the codes an hour before the show—a standard scanner will say "all clear." The Texer searches for traces that cannot be cleared: permanent codes, counters after a reset, incomplete self-diagnostics, and odometer rollback (if the car returns the odometer). The PDF report with a QR code can be shown to the seller right at the car.

WHAT IT DOES
• Engine error codes – confirmed, emerging, and permanent: causes, testing procedure, and "is it safe to drive" answer
• Code clusters: multiple errors with the same cause are one malfunction, not five.
• All modules: airbags, ABS, transmission, body – if the car and adapter allow it. The module names come from the car itself, including Chinese brands.
• Live data: dozens of sensors, graphs, trip logs
• System reserve: how close are the catalytic converter and lambda sensors to failure, cylinder misfires
• Battery and starter: will the car start in cold weather?
• Gas vs. gasoline: is the LPG system configured correctly?
• Erased or repaired: comparison of pre-service and post-service checks
• 0-100 acceleration and load test
• Behind the wheel: large numbers and projection on the windshield
• Fuel consumption by week and month, for gas and gasoline separately
• Service log with reminders: oil, filters, spark plugs, timing belt, insurance
• Report in PDF and WhatsApp – for yourself or for a mechanic

OFFLINE CODE DATABASE
6,653 codes with names, 562 of which have a detailed breakdown of the causes. Works offline: no connection needed in the garage or outside the city.

WHAT YOU NEED
• Android phone
• OBD2 ELM327 adapter — Bluetooth, Bluetooth LE, or Wi-Fi. For reliable connectivity, we recommend vLinker, OBDLink, or Vgate iCar Pro: the cheapest versions often don't connect. The app has a section called "Which adapter do I need?"
• Car with an OBD2 port: typically from 2001–2004; for US cars, from 1996 onwards.

HONESTLY ABOUT THE LIMITS
The OBD2 standard primarily covers the engine. The standard doesn't cover wear on the hybrid's high-voltage battery—the app just reports it. Some 2023 and newer vehicles use the CAN FD protocol, which ELM327 adapters don't support. The app doesn't currently support these vehicles. We don't perform coding or service resets, as this error could render the unit inoperable.
