Kyst browser extension is part of our application that enhances your Bluesky experience by providing advanced bookmark management capabilities. It not only lets you bookmark your favorite posts, but also organize, sync, and access them across devices.

The extension is designed to make the bookmarking experience more seamless and efficient. It adds a bookmarking button to each post, allowing you to save them easily (or to remove them, if marked previously). Then, there's the sidebar, where you can see and manage your bookmarks. The extension automatically syncs your bookmarks with Kyst servers, ensuring they're always up-to-date, across browsers and devices.

This app will not work if you open Bluesky in a container tab. A minor fault, but there are other disappointments, the greatest being the way Kyst displays the posts you've bookmarked: It's just another feed. For the saving, categorization and re-use of posts to be truly useful, Kyst needs to display them as a grid which is able to be organized by category, or tag. This is what Markfolder did with Twitter. A shame that Kyst doesn't do the same. I may find a use for it as a short term help in keeping track of posts, but as long as all it provides is another feed, though of posts you've saved, its usefulness is limited.
