🔐 Required Access Permissions

• Notification Settings: Used to provide immediate notifications regarding blood glucose changes and the risk of hypoglycemia/hyperglycemia. • Foreground Service: My Picoring integrates with a Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) to monitor the user's blood glucose levels in real time.

It continuously detects changes in blood glucose even when the app is in the background or the screen is off, and provides immediate notifications to the user in the event of dangerous situations such as hypoglycemia or hyperglycemia.

These real-time monitoring and emergency alert features are essential for the user's health and safety, and the foreground service is used to ensure stable data reception and maintain a continuous connection.

• Location Information (including ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION): Location permission is required for Bluetooth connection with the Picoring sensor.

Background location permission is used to maintain the connection with the sensor and reliably receive blood glucose data even when the app is not in use or is in the background.

Optional Access Permissions

• Bluetooth & Nearby Devices: Used to connect with the Picoring sensor.

• Access to Physical Activity Data: Used to measure step counts.

• Exclude from Battery Optimization: Used to ensure smooth blood glucose data reception or stable sleep measurement.
