Koala Zen

Koala Zen is a gentle, playful break reminder for your browser.

Every 30 minutes, at an interval you choose, an adorable koala appears at the edge of the page. First it invites you to move a little. Then it comes back to whisper a short piece of wisdom, and leaves in a different, playful way each time: hopping off, rolling away, or floating up on a balloon.

Make it yours:

• Set your own movement goals, like "Do 3 push-ups". The koala shows one at a time.
• Confirm each break as done or not, and follow your progress in a stats view: today, yesterday, this week, this month, or since you started.
• Note how you feel on a simple 1 to 10 energy scale, shown right next to your exercises.
• Pick a rhythm that fits: Pomodoro, Deep work, Ultradian, or your own interval (1 to 240 minutes).
• Snooze or pause when needed: later, one hour, or the rest of the day. Fell behind? Catch up your missed breaks.
• Pause automatically during video calls (Infomaniak kMeet, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet) and when you step away from the keyboard.
• Turn on an optional focus mode: a full-screen break that blocks the page until the timer ends. Off by default.
• Add your own koala images (PNG or animated GIF) and write your own quotes.

Around 60 hand-picked quotes span many voices, from Buddha, Jesus, Rumi, Saadi and Gibran to Marcus Aurelius, Seneca, Epictetus, Lao Tzu, Nietzsche and Steve Jobs. Every one of them is editable.
