Wayback Machine Auto-Archiver: Archive Webpages Automatically

"Wayback Machine Auto-Archiver" is a Chrome extension that automatically archives every webpage you browse. These webpages are archived by the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine. Through this process, the extension must view the pages you visit, indirectly logging your browsing history. These URLs are exclusively sent to the Internet Archive for archival, which may record your IP address. The icon in the toolbar is sourced from http://freeicons.io/

This is the app I made for the Congressional App Challenge 2018. It automatically archives every webpage you visit using the Wayback Machine by the Internet Archive.

In order archive web pages, the extension needs to see which pages you visit, which enables it to log your browsing history. These URLs are only sent to the Internet Archive for archival, and the Internet Archive may log your IP address.
