What is Citation Saver?

Citation Saver is a Chrome extension that enables you to highlight and save text citations on a page. It provides a convenient way to link back to your cited content for easy reference, even if you uninstall or switch browsers. This extension does not log your page visits and operates entirely within your browser environment.

Citation Saver allows you to link directly back to content you highlight on a page–that way you can cite text on a page and return to it later.

If you follow a Citation Saver link in another browser (or if you decide to uninstall Citation Saver), your link will still be valid and will take you to the same page; your browser just won’t automatically highlight the citation.

This is not a link shortening service. We’re not logging any of your page visits; the experience takes place entirely in your browser.

This is the only "direct link" extension or app that I could find that works; all the others are no longer supported, or don't work. It is very clean and easy to use from the context menu (right click). It works! Thank you, this is awesome. It's going to help immensely with creating my teaching materials
