It's a shame that such a beautiful extension received no support. It's extremely important abandonware doesn't continue being rewarded, especially when a key feature, local weather, is broken. For that reason, I'm giving it a single star.

really great should be built in! loses a star though cause the weather doesn't work

Looks awesome; but.... disapprove of security settings... there's no reason the extension should be checking gathering users geolocation. I would prefer to have an action to display bookmarks instead of all apps. The user could organize their bookmarks in a "Backdrop" folder and all those bookmarks get displayed.
