What is Zingy Reader?

Zingy Reader is a versatile Chrome extension that employs Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to extract English text from images. It offers the functionality to have the selected text read out loud or even translated into another language. Originally designed for Zingy Learning content, it's compatibility extends to many other websites. Note that the selection feature can handle up to 200 characters. The tool functions in a single open browser window to guarantee optimal performance.
