KindSearch Firefox

KindSearch

KindSearch is a search engine built with a greater purpose in mind — to help nonprofits and causes succeed in their mission.

Features & Capabilities

KindSearch is a search engine just like Google, Bing or Yahoo. The only real difference is in our business model. Instead of spending money on marketing we partner with nonprofits to get ourselves known and in return share our advertising income with them. KindSearch makes supporting your favorite organization super easy - use it when you are looking for something online and we automatically donate to the organization of your choice.

By clicking "Add to Firefox", you accept and agree to install the KindSearch Firefox extension, set the Firefox new tab and default search to KindSearch powered by Bing, and adhere to the Terms of Use (https://kindsearch.org/terms) and Privacy Policy (https://kindsearch.org/privacy).

User Reviews

Plenty of new search engines nowadays, always for the noble cause, always powered by Bing. This is becoming exasperating but, as with advertisement, one credulous for 99 aware is better than nothing. EDIT : Reply to developer Hi! - Bing is open to share its search results also because it's always that which won't go to Google. Implicitly I meant that there are several well-known, established search engines and an increasing number of search engines as yours who may promote either an enhanced privacy (lol) or funding of noble causes (trees and you name it) ... whilst the user has to rely on the newborn search engine's declaration of where the ads money goes. I'm not evoking fraud but only uncertainty. Moreover an increasing number of users block ads so these will be blocked on all engines yours included. As for the results you'll find those delivered by Bing everywhere, including with those 'established' engines, i.e. Qwant. From there on and on these grounds I'll have to confess not even having tested your search engine. Doubt prevails, not even skepticism. One just cannot tie an honorable declaration with reality, which doesn't mean the declaration is dishonest, of course.
