김장수첩 - 재료·비용 계산과 장보기

How many heads of napa cabbage should I buy for this year's Kimjang, and how much will it cost?

Simply determine the number of family members and the duration of consumption, and the results will show you exactly how many kilograms and heads of pre-salted napa cabbage are needed, along with the individual amounts for red pepper powder, garlic, salted seafood paste, and radish.

These results serve as your shopping list, and once you have made your purchases, it acts as a salting timer.

■ Calculations based on your household

· Enter the number of family members and the duration of consumption, and the weight of the pre-salted napa cabbage and the number of heads will be displayed.

· If you have already decided how many kilograms to buy, you can enter that amount directly.

· Ingredients vary depending on whether you buy pre-salted napa cabbage or buy fresh cabbage to salt yourself.

· Mild / Medium / Spicy — Only the red pepper powder and salted seafood paste are adjusted according to the seasoning.

■ Ingredients in grams

Red pepper powder, minced garlic, minced ginger, anchovy fish sauce, salted shrimp paste, plum extract, glutinous rice flour, broth, radish, onion, scallions — The required amounts are rounded up to the nearest available unit for shopping. For mustard greens, water parsley, fresh oysters, and pears, simply select and add the items you want.

■ How much is spent on each item

It shows you how much is spent on each item, categorized by cabbage, seasonings, salted seafood, and auxiliary ingredients. You can see at a glance where to cut costs.

If the unit price differs, correct it on the spot. It is immediately reflected in the total cost and is remembered for future purchases.

■ No need for a separate shopping list

The calculation results become your checklist. The remaining amount decreases every time you add an item to your cart.

Even if you close and reopen the app at the supermarket, your cart remains exactly as it was.

■ It remembers the time for pickling cabbage

If you are pickling it yourself, turn on the pickling timer.

· Warm indoors / Cool places / Outdoors in the middle of winter — the time can vary by more than double depending on where you pickle it.

· Notifications are sent every 4 hours when the cabbage is flipped and when it is fully pickled.

· You can pickle it overnight and go to sleep. The timer continues to run even if you close the app.

■ No account or login required

The content you enter does not leave your device. The mixing standard is a value cross-verified from various sources based on the widely used golden ratio per kilogram of pickled cabbage.

Since it varies from household to household, please start by using slightly less salted seafood paste and red chili powder to taste.
