What is MIDI Player?
MIDI Player is a powerful Chrome extension designed to support playback of various MIDI file formats including *.mid, *.kar, and *.rmi. The extension scans webpages for MIDI files in hyperlinks and in various HTML tags such as <audio>, <bgsound>, <object>, and <embed>, allowing users to play them directly in the browser. For optimal sound quality, it's suggested to install the Jazz-Plugin and the Jazz-MIDI extension. Please note that due to same-origin policy, MIDI files must be either on the same domain as the webpage referencing them or on a CORS-enabled server.
