Downie (Unofficial)

Sends current page to Downie.

Downie (Unofficial) is a handy Chrome extension designed to seamlessly send your current browser page to the Downie app for simplified media downloading. This unofficial tool allows users to quickly transfer page URLs to Downie, facilitating convenient access to supported downloads.

Keep in mind, this extension is not the official Downie app version. It may not support all sites, and attempts to send unsupported pages will notify you accordingly. Due to Chrome Store restrictions, downloading YouTube videos has been disabled, and certain protected videos across various sites may not be downloadable. Despite these limitations, this extension serves as a practical companion for Downie users looking to streamline their media saving workflow.

User reviews

I like this one better than the official extension. Click the icon, it downloads. Exactly what I want. I am using it in Brave browser and it works great. If it doesn't work for you, it's probably the website rather than the extension. Do some basic testing before posting something
