Paywall

Paywall

Shows 'Paywall' sites links as '$$$'. Preserves original text. Great on Drudge. Also flags sites that do not work with adblockers.

What is Paywall?
'Paywall' is a Chrome extension designed to provide users with prior notification when a link they are about to click leads to a site with paywalls or adblocker restrictions. Interestingly, it keeps the original link text and moves it into a $$$ text. Its outstanding performance on Drudge makes it a great companion. This extension does not infravertibly bypass paywalls or sign-in restrictions; its primary function is to give alerts for such sites.

User reviews
Fails to mark all paywalls correctly and permanently breaks links marked as paywalled on Google. It tries to do what it claims but fails miserably.
