Summary

Minimize GitHub comment noise in your pull requests from bots using this Google Chrome extension.

Reduce the noise of repetitive bot comments in your GitHub pull requests by visually hiding outdated comments, keeping the focus of your pull request conversation on contributor comments. This extension will leave the latest comment from any of the defined bots, but hide any older comments.

By default, the bot prefixes used are the most common ones found in MicrosoftDocs repos. You can change these to add new prefixes, remove existing ones, or replace the default list entirely.

Now, enjoy GitHub comment minimizer with far fewer permission requirements! As of version 0.5.0, only the storage permission is required to save your custom bot prefix list.

(NOTE: Prior versions of this extension would allow for hiding comments permanently via an official GitHub mechanism. This required elevated permissions, restricting the usefulness. As of version 0.4.0, this extension will only hide comments visually within your browser. Nothing is persisted on GitHub and will require the browser extension be installed for anyone else wanting to experience comment hiding.)

User reviews
This is an amazing extension I just have one small request. Can you allow the user to choose how many bot comments they want to preserve. I have a use case where I would like to preserve the last 2 comments, since our bot prints 2 (different)messages at a time.

No more scrolling through 3 acres of bot comments in a PR! So useful.

It's everything I wanted in a GitHub comment minimzer. It minimizes all of the outdated comments with a single click.
